I'm going to buy an XOX and finally get a PS4 this year for Gundam VS.

I'd argue that Naughty Dog games have been the best state-of-the-art games of the past decade or so. They have each been both a synthesis of many of the most progressive ideas/elements in modern games as a whole (narrative, design, graphics, gameplay, etc.) and extremely influential in their own right (e.g. modern Tomb Raider, some open world games like Infamous, upcoming stuff like Days Gone, etc.). I'd probably rank TLOU and Uncharted 2 as the best two console-exclusive games of the last gen...and Uncharted 4 was also very impressive in its own right.

I really liked the DS for RPGs but man so many games were so dumb with touch controls that took me out of it. I needed 3 hands to play Metroid Prime Hunters.

Two to play the game and one to enjoy the graphics? Seriously though the control on that game caused hand cramps trying to slide the stylus around while bracing the system still and firing shots off using a button.

Seriously, The Last of Us is the PS3 defining game, in terms of SCEA's software list. Naughty Dog continued to demonstrate its power as a developer. The only frustration I experienced was getting mauled by clickers due to my own failure. I will welcome TLOU2 with open, excited arms.

I'm not even an Uncharted fan, but The Last of Us was arguably the best game I've played on the PS3.

Who do you play with and when?

Evenings, we don't schedule playtimes. I just get on and see who is playing from friends list and go from there. There are duo modes and teams of up to 4. I play with a mix of friends and my brother.

I'll think about it. I just got sorta burnt by buying Overwatch and not really digging it after a few hours, so we'll see.
