What are you playing?
Re: What are you playing?
I don't buy Picross games often, but I am utterly addicted to them when I do. Picross DS was all sorts of great.

Gunhound EX.
Still playing Persona 5 and waiting for Futaba to wake up after the 4th palace.
Popped in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE for a little bit just for kicks.
Played some Madden 17 and RBI Baseball as in a little Sportsball mood. Downloaded Killing Floor 2 and Life is Strange from PS+. Try those later.

Started up Nier Automata... I can already sense this one might be my story of the year! Gameplay is improved for sure as well, but it's still best to approach it as an ARPG. It's not quite Bayonetta. But I like elements of this more and all the shmup stuff is amazing.
Loved the first one but I might already like this one even more, since it's leaning even harder into the sci-fi and feels even more anime (plus for me). It honestly makes me think of Xenosaga a lot so far, which is an amazing comparison for me.
Basically this game is everything I love. And 2B is both cute and badass.

Try the Arcade game Logic Pro series under Mame.Sarge wrote:I don't buy Picross games often, but I am utterly addicted to them when I do. Picross DS was all sorts of great.

Put in like 8 hours into Nier Automata today. I love it very much. I think I'm going for all the endings in this one.

I have no interest in Star Trek, but cross play VR is a good step.ElkinFencer10 wrote:Yep, and it's fantastic. I was playing online last night, and I legit felt like I was the captain of a Federation starship. It's intense af on some missions.

Been suuuuper addicted to Crusader Kings II again the past couple weeks, which is why I haven't been posting much. Also busy with school and work related stuff, so not really had time for anything side-projectly related.
I may need to take Ys III off of hard mode (i.e. restart) because the second boss is absolutely mincing my ass Xp

A few friends came over last night, we played a lot of Tekken 7 matches. This eventually led to some smack talk about Street Fighter 2 Turbo, so I broke out the snes. Good times were had.

Re: What are you playing?
I started Ico on the Sony Playstation 2 this afternoon!
I always like to play different games from the one before. So, to replace Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, I started playing Ico. Instead of a fast paced game with lots of color and insane combos, I went for a slow paced game with no music, minimalist story and an interesting concept.
It took me a bit to get used to the controls, but that soon faded and I got really into the game. I really like controlling the main character as he flows very nice. I haven't done much escorting the Princess, but so far, it hasn't been too bad. No combat or hard puzzles so far, but it has been very good.
One of the main reasons I wanted to play this was so that I could play Shadow of the Colossus. I am very excited to play it and I can't wait to see what the fuss is all about for both games.
