Re: E3 2017
I will go to my grave having hoped every year that Blizzard would FINALLY release StarCraft: Ghost on the Gamecube.

Of course it was. I was just being deliberately obtuse with regards to him referring to Federation Force.Segata wrote:That was a fun game tho.MrPopo wrote:Prime Pinball?

Also, F-Zero is a little more serious, and less accessible. I don't think it is a coincidence they handed off F-Zero GX and AX to Sega, the masters of arcade racing. But it also means they know that title has less broad appeal. Mario Kart is the way Nintendo wants to do racing these days, and F-Zero not so much.Xeogred wrote: I'm not sure I can get behind the Mario Kart vs F-Zero thing either. F-Zero is really different, but this genre in general has been pretty dead (Wipeout, etc).
Miyamoto himself has famously said the original was more of a technology demo and he doesn't understand why some people keep asking for sequels.
Re: E3 2017
F-Zero tracks in Mario Kart 8 are the best tracks. They asked Criterion to make a new one for Wii U but they turned Nintendo down to port Need for Speed instead.

Can't say I care what Miyamoto thinks.marurun wrote: Also, F-Zero is a little more serious, and less accessible. Let Sega make another one if that's how he feels. They did it better anyway. See my signature.
For the record, I do understand what you've been saying about Nintendo's point of view on this stuff, but that doesn't mean they're right about it.
