Guess I've been making these threads for awhile now, keeping the tradition going!

E3 is upon us once again. Here's some upcoming schedules:

What are you excited about and hoping for from E3 this year?

To me it feels like we've gotten a lot of the big hyped up releases by now, so this E3 feels like it could be a bit more surprises. I think Xbox is on thin ice here and has a LOT to prove. This could be their most critical E3 ever. They better be coming in guns blazing or I think the writing is on the wall. A powerful Scorpio alone isn't going to do anything.

Bethesda has been on a good track record the last few years by revealing games per E3 and often launching that year. Currently the rumors surrounding them excite me the most:
- Wolfenstein The New Order sequel
- The Evil Within 2
- Dishonored 2 and Prey DLC?
- Fallout 4 VR?
- Quake Champions

Would also love a sequel to Doom 4 AKA Doom 1 > 2 style, IE nothing needs to be changed. I just want more levels and a few new guns/enemies perhaps. Doom 4 was sublime.

My other dreams are:
- From Software reveals
- Metroid (keep dreaming)
- More Super Mario Odyssey footage and Switch stuff in general
- Dead Space remasters or Dead Space 4
- Resident Evil 2 Remake footage

And it will be interesting to see if SEGA has some good new announcements, since they're on a roll lately with these excellent PC ports and such.

You know what Sega could do as a benefit and would cost them a pittance? Sega Pico, the app, for Android and iOS too. No more of those flip books, just the interactive media tied to all those licenses they picked up and their own. I think kids would get a kick out of learning with anything from Sonic to something Disney.

I honestly don't know what to be excited for. PC, PS4, Vita, and Nintendo titles I suppose since they are the consoles I have.

"We're sorry for forgetting about the Vita. We are releasing ten new first party Vita exclusives that will push this platform to its maximum potential. Including a sequel to Shadow of the Colossus. Also we're publishing Phantasy Star Nova in English."

Nintendo
"We've got new F-Zero, new Metroid, and new Sin & Punishment exclusives coming to the Switch. Also, Endless Ocean 3 for the 3DS. We decided to retroactively publish Zangeki no Reginleiv and Earth Seeker for Wii in English. Or Wii U if you want."

Microsoft
"We give up, it was fun while it lasted."

Who the hell knows Splatoon III fuck you buddy! We got five new Marios and three new Zeldas and fifteen new Kirby games! Also a sequel to Miitomo and Tomodachi Life. 3DS is dead but please buy Miitopia 'k thx."

^ you're not totally wrong.

There are some funny rumors floating around about Sony putting out a portable PS4. Which, realistically if you think about it that would be kind of insane and a real swing at the Switch.

Wow, some folks love to make vague generalizations and asinine assumptions to fit their view of the game industry. The PlayStation 4 is not filled with a library of multiplatform games. There are tons of games coming out for the system that are exclusive to it. God of War. The Last of Us 2, a new Uncharted game, Yakuza Kawami, Hellblade, Ni No Kuni 2, Kingdom hearts 3, Days Gone, Detroit and that is just the stuff we already know about. Nintendo and Microsoft are the wild cards in this situation. Outside of Mario and the weird rabbids rpg game, we don't know what is in store. With Microsoft, outside of Sea of thieves, what do they have to show? We will find out.

I am sorry that the psp had been abandoned, but those are the breaks. Move on and continue to enjoy video games.
