Guess the game...game. (READ OP*revised* 5/11/17)
Re: Guess the game...game. (READ OP*revised* 5/11/17)
I just bought Madden 17 for 8 bucks on Ebay disc only. Every few years I replace my old Madden coaster for a new one. Only games I care not for cib. When i get a new one I toss the old one out in the trash..well just the last 2 gens. This and last. Only NFL sim I proudly have on the shelf CIB is NFL 2K5. That game is still awesome. Oh and I prudly have NFL Blitz 2000 on DC. I wish we still got those.

Even though you bought it and can do what you want with your property. I think that is a little disrespectful to just toss an old game, even if it is an outdated Madden. At least have the decency to donate that stuff. Someone will find joy in it.

I've never really gotten into any other football games other than Tecmo Super Bowl. Amazing, amazing game. Blows the doors off of the original, and honestly, I'd still take it over any other football game.
Now basketball games, I've played a lot more of. I kept up with the NBA Live series from '95 - '98 on PC, bought and played the mess out of NBA 2K5, and played a ton of NBA Jam: Tournament Edition on PC. That's a great port, by the way.
Also, if you're a Jam fan and haven't played NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, I recommend it highly.
Probably not with those. I see them littering thrift stores, they probably end up in a landfill somewhere.
But who knows, maybe some kid with no money (like me growing up!) will find some joy in it.

I would rather they have a chance at a home than broken and abused and immediately doomed to the dump.

There is like 80 quadrillion copies of Madden. Sold at thrift stores for 1 dollar no one buys. I used to work at one. They are so rarely bought. After 6 weeks if no one has bought an item they are thrown out in the trash and 99% of the time that's what happened with sports games on disc. There is no shortage of Madden discs. I would never throw out a cart tho as you can re use the case. When I worked at Gamestop at some point we stopped accepting them because people brought in so many. They would be pennied out and thrown out. No kid is missing out because of these being tossed out. They have a million more places and a millions more copies to choose from. Even of the game was Superman 64 I would never toss it. Madden tho..lol yeah. There is no shortage of madden discs. There is more supply of used Madden games than demand by a long shot.

Ah, thanks, Segata. I had a feeling that's what happened to them, now I know for sure.

I will say if you find a cib NCAA 14 at a Thrift Store. Buy it. You can sell it for 80-100 bucks. If you find a sealed NBA live 2011 (I think) you are rich biatch! Rare sports games become worth money but those are. Of course we all know about Track & Field.
Oh and this is fantastic

As usual, Bogus and I are in complete agreement.

Thread seems to have stalled out, so I'll drop more hints.
