Re: What are you playing?
Yeah, I've played (too much) AC Amiibo Festival, and it is pretty bad. I'm not sure why someone thought taking the best part of Mario party out would make a good game. I get that mini games with one controller would be rough, but the end product doesn't make up for this correctly.
My fiance loves AC though, so it'll stick around. At least we have all the AC Amiibos I guess.

Yeah my wife likes AC. I'm not a fan, I like the art style though. This game just lacks substance. It's a shame cause nintendo knows how to make great party games.

Animal Crossing is not a game meant to be played in long periods of time. There is substance there, but it is substance meant to be experienced in small doses over a longer period.strangenova wrote:Yeah my wife likes AC. I'm not a fan, I like the art style though. Animal Crossing New Leaf is a completely different beast than others in the series and offers tons of content as you play mayor and customize your town. That game in particular has seen so much support from Nintendo that they recently did a huge update that added a new area in your town, a new daily goal system that uses a new currency, as well as include the only minigame worth playing from amiibo festival.

I was still referring to amiibo festival. My bad.
The animal crossing proper has plenty of stuff going for it, it's just not my cup of tea.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew is basically the greatest Star Trek game ever made for serious fans of the series. I was playing online last night, and I legit felt like I was the captain of a Federation starship. It's intense af on some missions.

I want to play it but I am not getting a VR headset. I don't like VR and it gives me serious headaches. I wish there was a non VR version.

I can't stop playing Picross DS, I even stopped played Breath of the Wild because of it. At least once I run out of picross, I can maybe return to other games.
