So why is it taking so damn long for Alex Jones and Rush Limbaugh?

I'd say that it was deplorable and wrong. I have never condoned any behavior like that online or off. Disliking someone's presidential motives, and decrying their motives, is fair. Actively wishing the president dead and portraying that death in an illustrated public manner is another thing entirely.

That's where you're wrong. It's constitutional. because you are free to express and protest and freedom of speech still does not mean there will be no repercussions. I am a bit desensitized to prop heads because I used to make them for haunted houses plus used them working in them. Also did a lot of make up effects as a kid. So her doing it didn't bother me. I found it funny in how dumb it is. I more have critique for whoever made the hair. Hair didn't look right on the prop head.

As far as verbal things go, threatening the President of the United States is a class E felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871. The offense is punishable by up to 5 years in prison, a $250,000 maximum fine, a $100 special assessment, and 3 years of supervised release.

She didn't threaten him. If She did she would be behind bars right now.

I don't think she did either, but it gets awfully close to it.

Then again, even B-list celebrities seem to have enough money to escape consequences of this kind. Look at Ted Nugent.

Didn't a prop head of George W. Bush end up impaled on a pike in Game of Thrones?

It did, though they claimed it was not intentional. Rather, they'd rented a bunch of prosthetics instead of make them all from scratch, and happened to have used one of his head (or that looked very similar) - albeit only visible in profile, with a shaggy wig on it. Even then, they apologized and promised to edit it out of future releases.

Yeah, this particular social faux pas is pretty common. During Obama's term in office we saw quite a lot of evidence of just how many people could get away with portraying the president's death or threatening the president and his family.

It happened during the George W. administration as well. It's just become a part of the political "discourse" we currently have in our country.

Here's a comedy sketch that came out during the Bush administration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEQOvyGbBtY While I think it's a great sketch, it's also something that I figure a lot of folks would find borderline.
