Those are previous games I've acquired though. I was just taking about the most recent which is the 3 Wii and 2 DS games.

That's how I played those God of War games. They're pretty good for what they are, although I prefer DMC or Ninja Gaiden. I was actually thinking about jumping into the third game pretty soon.

Don't even compare them... lol.

I thought the first two games were fine though for sure. But 3 isn't great, it's way more set pieces, QTE's galore, less player control, and it was shorter.

Kratos is quite possibly one of the worst and lamest videogame characters of all time. It's comical how annoying he is. I'm definitely curious to see where the direction of the series goes with the new one though.

I always got a kick out of ridiculing how angry he was all the time.

"RARR! Angry chest opening!"

"Graaa! Angry door opening!"

"Arrrrgh! Angry... balance beam walking!"

Still a surprisingly decent set of games with decent combat and light exploration elements. Definitely too much "trying too hard" from the series, though.

Fucking yes! So rare to see someone else say this. The not 4th game on PS3 is also pretty bad. Whatever it was called and a prequel. Another issue is it zooms out so much the GREY character easily gets lost in the GREY buildings. Kratos is an AWFUL video game characters. He's an idiot as well. waaah you make me kill my family...oh hey some hookers...oh right back to rage and killing. Asuras Wrath did that a whole lot better with character motives. AW plays different but in motive it's done better.

God of War Ascension... I think. Kind of like Gears of War Judgement. I hear nothing but bad things about both. I have no interest in Ascension or playing the God of War PSP games (think they got a PS3 collection as well). But I would like to pickup that HD collection myself sometime. I did play the first two on the PS2, unlike some of the other Sony exclusives I missed out on and caught up with the PS3 remasters.

Kratos would be a goomba enemy against Asura. It'd be like Saibaman vs SSJ10 Goku. Despite all the rage, Asura has real resolve and a soul. That game was magical.
