Someone linked me to the soundtrack on YouTube the other day. And the video had a still image, which was that satellite!

- The game had two simultaneous physical releases. One release was on a CD-ROM, the other was not.
- It has since been re-released digitally.

If it's CERO, then it's 2002 or later.

I keep thinking something like a game with a PC and PSP version, probably some sort of visual novel.

Also, CERO didn't start using letters for their rating system until March of 2006, when they broke the 18+ rating up into D (17+), and Z (18+)--apparently due to GTA III.

Moar hints:

- The CERO rating was applied once the game was re-released digitally.
- It's a sequel.
- Some internet surfing tells me that a PC version also exists, released in both Japan and China. Apologies for not including that bit of info earlier; it's quite an obscure port and most database sites do not include it. So, that's two console releases, PC, and a "recent" digital re-release.
- I don't own it (yet). Neither does pierrot (at least not the version pictured, I didn't peruse his entire backloggery
