There is a US version that does not have the Wii game packed in.Kuruwin wrote:Does anyone whether there exists versions of Rodea that do not have the Wii version. I would suspect that there's no second batch (the wii version was suppose to be first print bonus) that does not have it but i can't be sure and i'm scared of getting the PAL release because i'm afraid that i only get the useless Wii U version.

I think i might have to play it safe wait and get used copy from a source that quarantees that the Wii version is included. There might not be second print EU but there's the possibility that there is if American got one too so i will hold off for now.

May 23, 2017.
The day Darksiders: Warmastered Edition comes out.
I'd be shocked if more that 1000 of these get pressed to a disc. I'm more interested in the loss the company took to release this.

Don't forget! Cars 3 will also be getting a physical release on the Wii U next month!

Thanks for the heads up. It had already sold out at most of my go-to online retailers, but I managed to score a copy on Amazon. And it only cost me £12.99 thanks to Prime discountcasterofdreams wrote:May 23, 2017.

Edit: So no word on how the Wii U version performs? I can't find any footage, screen shots or reviews.

Haha so I got my copy of Darksiders Warmastered Edition today and the back of the box is the same as the other versions, somewhat hilariously boasting "Now with Hellish HD resolution and 60FPS".
For those who don't know, the Wii U version is actually in 30FPS

I smell a class-action lawsuit.
I wish I were kidding, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if someone tried it.

I thought the same. Someone will try it.

No one will try and that. (This is the Wii U version we're talking about...it would be almost impossible to find a plaintiff, much less assemble a class.). They could get in trouble with the FTC, but it wouldn't be worth the agency's time.
Sadly, however, I will not be receiving my copy from Amazon until mid-June. My guess is that they didn't print many of these.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
The logical "payout" would likely just be offering to buy back your copy of a $20 game. Since it'd likely cost money just to file the lawsuit, at what point would it even be worth bothering to do so?
More likely, if anything is done, they'll apologize for the error and offer a corrected insert.
