What was the last movie you've seen?

Dude watch Arrival. If you love sci-fi or don't, it's still great.

Well I picked up Arrival today, my wife is super excited. Her first words when I picked up the case was "is this another scifi cause I want more scifi?"

I won't be able to watch til Sunday night though. We don't have an evening together til then. I picked up a few other non scifi movies for me to watch while she works though.

What are your favorite spaceship movies? Where most of the movie takes place in a big single spaceship.

I'm thinking something like, Alien or 2001 ASO.

The George Clooney Solaris was kind of cool but a bit odd.

(I hated Event Horizon. Sorry).

Saw Covenant. It was ok; it's basically Prometheus pt. 2 in regards to continuing the origin story of where the hell the xenomorph comes from.

Saw Prometheus yeah, it was ok. This movie was worse though. It is definitely more Prometheus 2 than I wanted it to be.

Ugh. Haven't seen it yet. Seeing Guardians 2 tomorrow since I was sick on release day. Too many movies I wanna see right now.

Decent enough if you enjoyed the earlier movies, as it maintains parity with them. Left an obvious hook for a sequel, so take that "Final Chapter" part with some hubris. 6/10



My wife is a fan of this series so we've seen all of them together. I'm kinda "meh" on the whole shebang, but earlier films were good dumb fun. This particular film though was a big step down from the earlier entries. I didn't expect it to be amazing, but they really dropped the ball here. 4/10
