Pokemon Red / Blue / Yellow (Game Boy)

The originals on the Game Boy are definitely under 30 hours. The remakes on GBA add some extra content, but howlongtobeat.com says 30 hours. It's also one of those games where you can beat the main story in 30 hours or less, or you can spend 100 hours if you wanna go all out.
Marurun suggested it be broken down into categories. Perhaps "main story + extras" should be a category of it's own? There's games that are sub 30 hours and that's it. Then there's games where you can roll credits in sub 30 hours, but you can optionally spend more time playing the game if you wish.

If we start breaking this into categories and fracturing everything less people will post due to feeling overwhelmed by perceived complexity. So let's keep this simple. The completion time is concerning the principle campaign. Side quests and optional content doesn't have to correlate into the equation.

Knights of the Old Republic - Been years since I played it, but HowLongtoBeat has it at 29 hours. Great game!
KOTOR 2 - Similar time on HLTB.
Jade Empire - HLTB has it at around 15 hours. It's a great game that is set in a fantasy version of ancient China/Asia and is centered around martial arts masters.
Ys - I haven't played the entire series but I would think they would all fall under the time limit of 30 hours. They are ARPGs though.
But... If we are including ARPGs then I'll throw in a couple of Diablo-style ARPGs.
Torchlight - 15 hours for a single playthrough on Normal difficulty for me.
Torchlight 2 - More like 20 hours.
The two Torchlight games are some of the best Diablo-style games you'll ever play.
