Your Unpopular TV/Film opinions.
Re: Your Unpopular TV/Film opinions.
I am a little saddened by how weak some of the superhero shows are. Have you seen the early cast photo of Inhumans? Yikes...

Or are you just saying that you're upset that something that you don't like exists?

The Power Rangers are damn high-end art compared to how awful that cast photo looked.Xeogred wrote:Yeah, makes Power Rangers look good.marurun wrote:I am a little saddened by how weak some of the superhero shows are. Have you seen the early cast photo of Inhumans? Yikes...

I'm already so fucking sick of Star Wars. I felt absolutely nothing when I saw the Episode 8 trailer.

Care to elaborate?Gunstar Green wrote:I'm already so fucking sick of Star Wars. I felt absolutely nothing when I saw the Episode 8 trailer.
When, where, and why?
Replace Star Wars with "Marvel" there for me, or comic book related anything. Hence I am extremely worried about the future of Star Wars with Disney having it by the balls now. Time for 500 million Star Wars releases.

I'm just already burnt out. It's everywhere, it's everything, and I didn't care all that much for the two movies already released along with the revelation that like Marvel, it's never going to end. At least Marvel can do some zany stuff once in a while like Guardians of the Galaxy. Star Wars is a bit more pigeonholed unless they can surprise me by doing something crazy and genre-breaking.Xeogred wrote:Care to elaborate?Gunstar Green wrote:I'm already so fucking sick of Star Wars. I am pretty meh on Star Wars. I will watch the films and may even be entertained but I am not running out to see them either. Just like eh they're ok.

Yeah, annual releases and overexposure are a recipe to ruin anything for me.
Was thinking about this today, but it's like the 80's have indirectly created our ultimate doom. It's all coming back again and won't stop. Because the magic is never the same. Makes me wonder how older generations felt about this same kind of thing with other returning trends.
