I think that's a bigger problem with all the MCU villains though right?marurun wrote:Except for the completely shallow villain.noiseredux wrote:Guardians is so good.

Loved it. Can't wait for the sequel.

Yeah, pretty much. Loki is the only villain who wasn't a one-sided big-bad. Even Ultron, who had an interesting concept, was pretty dull in implementation. I still enjoy the MCU films, but I can't help but wonder how much better they would be if the enemies and villains had actual personality and heft to them. Hoping Sony's Spiderman movie will fix some of that.strangenova wrote:I think that's a bigger problem with all the MCU villains though right?marurun wrote:Except for the completely shallow villain.

The one with George Clooney? Got bored to tears halfway through it.Sano wrote:Tomorrowland. Very interesting movie.

Definitively better than Prometheus.. But! The stupid spacestation crew syndrome persists throughout.

I'm not sure I understand where Ridley Scott is ultimately going anymore with the Alien series. Still not sure how we got here from Alien.

Me neither. Alien + Aliens were the epitome of the whole franchise.marurun wrote:I'm not sure I understand where Ridley Scott is ultimately going anymore with the Alien series. Still not sure how we got here from Alien.

Ridley Scott is on a tirade to create the midichlorians of his movies.
