Yeah, I like Wii Sports well enough. Golf and Bowling are great, and the Boxing is terrible but fun.
Wii Sports Resort is awesome though. <3 Archery.

Eh, he's not totally wrong, per se. I remember boiling down tennis, baseball, and bowling (at least) to flicks of the wrist, because it was more effective than actually making full motions.Exhuminator wrote:All of your subjective opinions are perfectly fine, especially in this thread. I still got some fair enjoyment out of it in college, though. For a pack-in title, at a point where video game consoles didn't release with pack-in titles, I can't really fault it for anything. Pick your battles, I say.

I find that you guys have surprisingly strong opinions about Wii Sports.
Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
Sports Resort was actually quite a gem, and demonstrated the Motion Plus control accuracy quite well. Frisbee gold and archery were a real blast. I'll totally go back to those if I can get the stupid Wii hooked up again.

Does the WiiMote Plus actually improve tracking on games not designed for it, like the Trauma Center series?

The original was hit and miss. Bowling worked and the mini baseball and golf stuff worked fine too (and those Golf courses were 3D representations of the black box NES Golf too.) The other stuff wasn't all that hot, problems or just a bore alone.
Sports Resort though had a heap of variety and quite a few were just awesome by yourself to mess around with as the motion plus just added so much to the possibilities. The archery I enjoyed most, but the flight one, and the swords(look like light sabers), and a few others were fantastic too.

I do not believe so. The Plus adds new sensors, and the system has to be able to see them to poll them.Erik_Twice wrote:Does the WiiMote Plus actually improve tracking on games not designed for it, like the Trauma Center series?
