OnLive

Post by RCBH928 »

Has any one seen this?
I saw the introduction of this on video from gamespot.com

I personally think its amazing. Top graphics no matter what your specs are, no download, 0 lag, and the tiny tiny console for the TV, PC vs TV , anytime any where, its out of this world! It is really thinking out of the box.

I live half way around the world and I will NEVER see this because how far the servers will be, Americans are damn lucky.

Yet , if you see the reaction of the people and the press there, they were like "Yeah..ok" .
I am not sure if they realize how futuristic and amazing is this. I really felt bad for the CEO of this thing delivering this thing. He has been working on it since 2002 and its really a jump in the gaming world. Yet when he was made time for questions at the end, no body seemed to care he even made a comment and said something like "Do you all have no questions or do you just want to go for the drinks?"
I bet if Steve Jobs announced this journalists would be banging their heads into their chairs in excitement and Apple stock would jump 1 billion % .

I know its not offering anything more than what is already available, but think of the possibilities . Its very innovative in my opinion, just think about it. No lag, no download. I mean even your ps3/360 takes time to load while the CD is IN the console not miles away. What do you think?

Yep, this is total vaporware. Not even remotely feasible. Bet they're having a lot of fun with that venture capital.
