What would your dream game compilation be?
Re: What would your dream game compilation be?
It'd be nice to have Castlevania 1, 2 and 3 with SNES graphics, but the physics of the game kept intact, much like the All Stars cart, along with a bunch more Castlevania games.
Re: What would your dream game compilation be?
Jorge was working on a CV3 remake. Looks like he released a WIP a while back.

edit:I just tried it. It's much better than the last preview he sent me. Very playable.

This..

...and that would just be volume 1. Volume 2 would feature mainly Model 2 games.
I can at least hope that some of these games will show up on Virtual Console Arcade..

That's just awesome. Is he still working on it? See... I wish I knew how to do stuff like that! I'd remake ALL my games lol.Anapan wrote:Jorge was working on a CV3 remake. Looks like he released a WIP a while back.

That Castlevania 3 remake is fucking great and has some real potential. Thanks for sharing I had no idea one existed. Considering its a favorite in the series for most people from the 8-bit era"like myself", I'm surprised Konami hasn't talked about a remake.Ziggy587 wrote:That's just awesome. Re: What would your dream game compilation be?
I'm pretty sure it was abandoned back in '05 and that's why Jorge released it unfinished shortly after but I haven't talked to him since some time in 2004 when I was helping him with some sprite rips. Jorge Fuentes was the artist and musician on the team but I can't remember who else was working on it. He's a moderator at the Castlevania Dungeon's forum so if you want more info that would be the place to ask.
