Of Blazing Star and the neo-geo

I just played this game for the first time earlier today, and I love it!
The only other hori I've ever liked was Progear (maybe darius gaiden too).
Of course, this was only released on the neo-geo.
Yet another reason that brings me closer to dropping 100s I cannot afford too
But this game is so awesome...
Speaking of which, I know there are many great fighters and the like for the neo-geo, but if I were to buy one it would be for the shooters. Any ideas as to the best ones for the system if I were to take the plunge?

Blazing Star is great, so is Pulstar and Strikers 1945 Plus.

Only ppl trying to unload their copy would say such things. GP is gawd awful, stay away (unless it's $10 and you just gotta 'catch them all'). Last Resort is better! Pulstar, Blazing, Strikers and Twinkle are the A+ ones, Andro, Aero(s) and Zed would be my second tier.

Of course, opinions are what they are.
