Interesting. I would game the shit out of your courses, then. Librarians always win at those kinds of challenges.dsheinem wrote:He's not right. There were no "rules" set up about what is a "fair" method of discovering the game or not, so if the OP wants to have a game where certain methods are approved or not approved, then he needs to be up front about it.
.....
I encourage my students to use all resources available to them when operating within the rules. If there are no rules, it is not fair to arbitrarily call one form of research out as cheating, which is what the OP did.

Here's the next one.

Yet another PC game.
If someone knows it for sure then feel free to post the next one because i'm off to bed.

If "doing research" to complete projects is "gaming the shit out of" then sure, you would have no problem doing that. Obviously rules about plagiarism, exams sans resources, etc. are explicit...marurun wrote:

I was thinking it was Deadly Dozen or Hidden & Dangerous, but I couldn't match up the compass graphic. I totally forgot Hidden & Dangerous got a sequel.

I get your point Dsheinem, but pick your battles. This was just meant to be a fun thread where we guess games from screenshotsdsheinem wrote:Hidden and Dangerous 2

You know there's no rule in Trivial Pursuit that says you can't look up the answer to a question on your phone too? People just don't do it because it's no fun for anyone that way.

It still can be. Google Images doesn't know all and some images (like Ex's last one) stump it hard. That's the kind of image that, for me, makes this game fun to play. I know that was a big part of what made it fun years ago, too.alienjesus wrote:I get your point Dsheinem, but pick your battles. There were a couple games like this over on the PCEFX forums where we would post 20x20 to 40x40 pixel sections of images from PCE games and guess those. Those were damn hard, but rarely was there something nobody could guess. Here we're often more generalists, but there you can find some VERY dedicated single-platform fans.
