I've fallen back to my two old staples of Wonder Woman and Detective Comics. They've also just started up Batwoman again. I liked the original run, so I'm hoping this one holds up.

Before that, I also got Green Arrow and Flash, but I started to loose interest. I might have to go into a store and check out the trades to see if the new books re-pique my curiosity.

Other than that, I've been slowly picking up the Saga and Akira books. Very happy with both so far. I'm also still reading through all the comics I bought in that auction I won last year. Most of it was Superman, which I'm not always interested in, but the stand alone stories in DC Comics Presents are pretty enjoyable.

so you lean more towards DC then, eh?

I keep up w/ Supergirl... mostly because I love the character. Not so much the new series. I mean, it's fine. But I don't know. Could be better. The Supergirl: Being Super mini-series is fantastic though.

I also have been reading Batgirl - which happened because my sister got me a subscription for Christmas. I like it. Actually, there was a Batgirl/Supergirl crossover annual recently that was pretty great.

I pick and choose Batman issues. I am currently reading the Batman and Flash "The Button" crossover because, well, it has to do with Watchmen.

Speaking of which, I'm currently reading

which I'm quite enjoying.

I am reading more Lumberjanes. I love this series.

The recent Batgirl stuff really is pretty awesome.

true. And Supergirl #9 starts a story arc crossover w/ Batgirl (that was actually really started in Supergirl's Annual from a couple months back...)

I've gotten really behind on the stuff I'm reading. Which sucks, because I have a rather large pile of comics I picked up on FCBD. And then haven't even had a chance to get any new comics since since I feel guilty about the big pile. I need to try to find some time to get caught up because I do really miss picking up new weekly issues.

Usually when I get behind like this due to general life business - like I did back in Jan/Feb - it means it's time to ditch reading some stuff that I'm not enjoying as much as I'd like to be. So the Deadpool/Punisher mini-series will probably go; I'm on the fence with a few others.

finally found a pocket of free time over the weekend, and managed to read some comics. Among them were the first issues of Aliens: Dead Orbit and Predator: Hunters. Working on getting caught up on my pile. I miss being current and just picking up a few choice issues per week.

Oh, and I did some organizing off my issues. Bought some nice dividers for my boxes, and got a label maker to make them look pretty. The best thing is that this helps out my OCD... for instance, in the past I'd have to put Uncanny Avengers in the "U" section of the boxes. But now that I've got the nice dividers, I put a label for Avengers and then within that section have The Avengers, The Uncanny Avengers, etc. It's just a lot more organized.

I've also just started slowly digitizing the parts of my collection that I can. A large majority of my Marvel stuff came with digital codes. And DC has started doing the same just recently. So I'm working on loading up my DC/Marvel apps. It's nice for wanting to re-read certain issues without unbagging them, or letting my wife read some of my stuff digitally, or heck, even bringing stuff to the beach or to read out in my yard without worrying about damaging an issue. Though I do still prefer the feeling of reading an actual comic book over a tablet, it's nice to have the option.

EDIT:

I generally mix in an older graphic novel or TPB with all the current issues I'm reading. The next will be one of these three:

Spider-Man: Return Of The Sinister Six
X-Force: A Force To Be Reckoned With
X-Men: X-Tinction Agenda

I was going to make a passive-aggressive post about how I wish this thread would get more conversation, but I'll just say I wish this thread would get more conversation.

Anyway, a heads up for you guys who have enjoyed the Marvel Netflix stuff... tomorrow Bendis launches his new Defenders comic:

Honestly, if I were reading more comics right now I'd post more in here, but I kinda haven't had time lately. I'll have read some more, soon, though.

I know. It just kind of sucks sometimes because I enjoy discussing things I'm into. It feels like this thread was pretty active when I was first getting back into comics. But now nobody else seems to be too into talking in this thread so while I'm enjoying this hobby I've got nobody to really share it with.

I've posted a bit on CBR, but the problem there is the opposite. It's such a huge forum with so many sub-forums that it's difficult to even keep up with a conversation and many posts get quickly lost as there's so many new posts going up rapidly.

Well, then I'll tell you what I'll be reading, soon. I'm going to be diving into The Sandman, vol. 3, and the first several issues of Peter David's 80s run on The Incredible Hulk, when he transitioned from green to gray.
