Yay, the repair episode is up! Awesome, awesome stuff.
Also, maybe I can win that portable ZX Spectrum.

I've been watching this glad to see the repair the hours ago. He does good work and got it running better than expected and reversed a factory disable of the drive no less.

Yea I love this guys work ethic and his show is a solid production, I'm glad I stumbled into his vids last night and subscribed.
Capacitors always check the caps on decades old electronics, keeping it simple is key when messing with electronics and then work your way through keeping checks.

Most excellent! I saw this pre-final repair with it planned back in March at the Louisville Arcade Expo. It's a cool little historical anomaly.
I love seeing that thing finally working after a year. Who knows if another in some level of completion will ever turn up, probably not though. Amazing some people would make games for non-existent hardware which goes so show how much people love the SNES format they'd take such a leap to guesstimate out how the CD hardware would have worked (and got so close too.)

Freaking love this.

Yay, the sequel! Thank you for this. I actually understood some of the stuff he was saying, but I certainly don't have the hands-on chops to do some of the stuff he does. Anything that doesn't involve soldering is fine by me
