Good to hear on the infinite continues. 8)

This emulation resurgence is madness. I need to be in bed now but I keep clicking on youtube playthroughts of games that look drop dead gorgeous.

Can't contain the erections:
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/scat/scat.htm
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/catalo ... atsume.htm - I am not sure if I've ventured into anything by Natsume yet at all honestly, but I've heard about them plenty over the last several months from VGM podcasts. These games look S rank tier.

Look at this Vice game!
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/vicepr ... ctdoom.htm
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/catalo ... -aicom.htm - Aicom looks legit

Power Blade 2 looks cool:

And I'm not sure what I've been doing with my life since I have never played Mega Turrican, despite being a huge fan of the Super SNES installments. Mega looks downright phenomenal. And the NES game looks awesome too.

But Mega Turrican, wow. Top priority. This is ME if you deformed me into a game.

Natsume made some great stuff. I think you would really like these:

Play Power Blade, Shatterhand, Vice: Project Doom, Shadow of the Ninja, Ninja Warriors, Pocky & Rocky and Wild Guns by Natsume, they're all awesome.

Unfortunately for Xeo, I realized that even though I did just get Yakuza 3, I have another one to play before that! Ryuu Ga Gotoku Kenzan, the 1800's era samurai spin-off, is more or less Yakuza 2.5, so that one does come first :P

Definitely play those Natsume games. Shatterhand is one of my legit favorite platformers on the system. Tough, but it plays quite a bit like Batman, so it's awesome. And that music... so good. Iku Mizutani had some kickin' tunes on NES.

Even though Vice: Project Doom's cinematics leave something to be desired, the game itself is excellent. It basically does the three-genre thing that Bayou Billy does, in a much, much, much better (and fair) game.

Shadow of the Ninja has one of my favorite tunes on the NES. Stage 1 is right up there as a top 10 contender for NES compositions.

Oh, yeah. That's Mizutani as well, and Shadow has some great, great tunes.

If megaman legacy collection 2 is a real thing, then I hope its not just 7-10. Instead I'd rather it be all the snes games (7, X1-3, Rock and Forte, and Soccer).

Feels like a lot of unfinished business and things I've talked about getting to on RB for years haha, like the Genesis versions of Aladdin and TMNT. Cool to finally get around to them.

So basically a dozen thumbs up for this Natsume stuff, hell yeah.

DUDE, now I envy your Japanese skills. I hear these games are excellent, but they are probably so deeply Japanese culturally it makes sense that we will probably never get them.

I hear bad things about Dead Souls, but yeah the other two feudal Japan ones look and sound awesome.

Batman NES (and maybe Return of the Joker) are possibly the most epic 20+ year replays in the making haha. I grew up playing these a lot, or at least one of them. But I seriously don't think I've played them again in over 20 years. Wonder if I can conquer them again.

Rockman & Forte alone would sell me, I think that game is way better than both Mega Man 7-8.
