How long was the DS shop opened post 3ds? 6 years or so? If we count that from the WiiU we're talking 2018 maybe.

Re: Games Acquired 2017
I stopped by the absolutely fantastic Lost Ark video games while was in Greensboro this weekend. I picked up:
Barnyard Blast Night of the Swine (DS)
Chack 'n Pop (Famicom)
The Game of Harmony (Gameboy)
Polarium Advance (Gameboy Advance)
Super Army War (Gameboy Advance)
Popils (Game Gear)
Super Golf (Game Gear)
Samurai Legend Musashi (PS2)
Sniper Elite V2 (Wii U)
I also picked up my first PS1 import...a nice minty copy of King's Field(!). I don't have a spot for it in my collection yet; so, right now, I am keeping it in my dresser next to my handgun. Both of them will kill you, but one of them is much deadlier than the other...
Finally, I picked up a complete copy of Funky Barn (Wii U) at a pawn shop this morning for $10. I am happy to get it for that price, and I think it will be interesting to see what its price does in the coming years.

Oh man Chack 'n Pop is clunky and hard as hell. As a Bubble Bobble fan I want to like it but can't.

Re: Games Acquired 2017
I wish I could show you how disappointed my face is to see you bought Armored Core V my friend.
I'm assuming it's similar to Verdict Day, which took me literally 2-3 hours to finally get to play after it had to install then download numerous (no exaggeration) required patches and online play was required for everything. A lot of us joke about this sort of thing with this current and last gen, but Verdict Day was hands down the most invasive case of this I've ever seen. It was extreme. Played a level or two and absolutely hated it and immediately deleted everything and put the game in the "might sell these pile even though I rarely sell games so that means it's really really bad".
4 was alright. I've got For Answer so I'll get to that sometime.

The remainder of my acquisitions for April:
3DS
Project X Zone 2
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes
Dragon Quest VII
Switch
Puyo Puyo Tetris
PS4
Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae
Astebreed
Pang Adventures
Flinthook
Vita
Ray Gigant
So yeah, most of pick-ups from the end of the month are thanks to Limited Run. And I'm pretty sure I got Dragon Quest VII back in March, but I put it away with it's brethren before typing it in and I don't feel like going back and editing the previous post.
Found Project X Zone 2 at Walmart, they had dropped it down to less than $10. The copies sitting at my local store, however, are still marked as full price. I'm still kind of hoping my store will come to their senses and drop the prices of a couple games that other stores have already reduced, instead of letting them sit on the shelf collecting dust, but I ain't holding my breath.
