I would actually like to dive in a bit more into the Adventure Island / Wonder Boy games. I had Super Adventure Island 2 on the SNES which was pretty weird, but kind of cool.

This new 2DS XL does seem to have the largest DS/3DS screens, yet. I like the clamshell design, because I worry a regular slate-style 2DS would end up with damaged screens too quickly. The unit looks large enough to not be uncomfortable to hold. I'd like it to be cheaper than $150, but that's not bad for all it packs in. This looks like a winning design, to me.

2DS design seems nice, but yeah, I think it could stand to be a touch cheaper. There should be more of a price gap between that and a 3DS, I think, though if they end up having a preinstalled game that could technically do it.

Far as I know, 3DS XLs also have a bit of a panel lottery involved though, so, the new 2DS could possibly go either way.

I don't actually know that the screens are larger. They just look larger in the pictures. It could be an optical illusion. I BELIEVE EVERYTHING I SEE ON THE INTERNET!

I just think there's a point of diminishing return for the enlargement of the screen sizes for 3DS. You're only dealing with a native 2D resolution of 400×240 after all.

Yeah the Faxanadu save/password/money system is odd. I just save-stated last time I played.

And yes the game is awesome. So is the original Xanadu, Xanadu Next, and presumably Tokyo Xanadu as well. Hail Dragon Slayer.
