Pricecharing.com just added a collection tracking feature. It keeps a running tally of the value of your collection. I'm thinking about moving my physical collection tracking to this for that feature alone. I'll keep my digital games in a separate system unless they implement a feature to flag a game as digital so it doesn't affect the collection value.

I started using collectorz software. It is visually nice and easy to add games and customize. It also syncs with vgpc

I've tried using it. Something about it just seemed unsatisfactory to me. Adding my catalog was a pain. I've always kept mine in excel.

I use rfgen for my physical but the digital libraries require a lot of submissions and are rarely up to date. So I've been tracking those in excel.

I used to use Collectorz - I got in before they upgraded and just didn't want to pay again for the new cloud stuff. The App worked really well in syncing your collection to your phone.

I've started moving my collection over to that to have a third tracker (because I have no life). My only gripe is that it only seems to have NTSC-U games listed, and a good handful of my games are imports.

I noticed that as well. Most of my imports are Sega Saturn and also a few PAL Master System games. You can vote to have that added as a feature here. And here for PAL regions.

That said, it has been a while since I calculated what my collection is worth. I was a bit surprised what it came out to be. I should probably call my insurance agent and make sure it is covered by homeowner's insurance.

Check again. Hundreds of GOG.com, Steam, and eShop games have been added semi-recently by people like Fragems, Ack, Exed, and myself.

Generally I will submit a game to the database when it piques my interest (so, before I buy it). Entries are usually accepted within 24 hours.

(I just checked, I have added 380 total).

I feel as though my collection is pretty big, but it's probably nowhere near the size of some collections, so I've never had the need for any logging system other than my head. I have 20-60 games for each of the 20 or so systems I own. I could tell you pretty confidently which games I have for every system I own. I've only ever unintentionally bought a duplicate once and that was because I couldn't find my copy of a game that I was nearly positive I owned (it turned up in some random box a couple years later).

Well, I've got 123 added in, worth around $8000 apparently. This... might take a while.
