MS actually had GE remaster in a playable state, you can see it here:

From what I understand of the parties involved, Activision and MS were in agreement for the rerelease but Nintendo didn't want it to be released since it was going to be for XBLA only. Thankfully, we got the PD remaster. It's great.

As for my PD progress, I guess that ram up in difficulty is what halted my progress 3-4 years ago.

The Dust District level in Dishonored 2 was really cool. Ended up exiling both Paolo and the Overseer so they can jointly serve in the mines for five years together and suffer the consequences of their battle over the territory and repression. How fitting haha.

Now at the time changing gimmick level.

Yeah, that puzzle was insane and I figured you could solve it legitimately. Absolutely love how free form this game is.

I try to get all the charms, runes, blueprints, etc, though. But I think I missed two on the Ashworth level... after taking out Paolo, I'm assuming she probably had some bonecharms are her as well. But I just shut off her witch machine and that made her mope around crying about it and didn't do anything. I think if I at least knocked her out maybe I would have gotten the charms, since that's what I did with Paolo. I did find a note about two charms she had, so I'm assuming they were literally on her and I missed those two.

I solved the puzzle and then went and did the level to see the content. But I wasn't about to let the puzzle go unsolved.

The alternate path is simply finding a note about the full solution, lol. Although it requires you to go through both the Overseer camp and then the Howlers.

I beat Perfect Dark Area 51 Escape (Perfect Agent) the other day. It was harder than Rescue, but easier than Infiltration imo. The game only get's harder from here on.

You can say that again.

I think the Skedar spaceship level might be the hardest for me. Second to last I think? If only because it's longer on the higher difficulties and can get freaking tough the further you get in the level, along with some make or break objectives.

The Skedar ship also is tight on resources. When you do the final mission you get some high powered weapons and the ammo to use them.

Yeah I'm not looking forward to that mission. I'm glad the devs gave the player the SuperDragon and not the Dragon in Area 51 Escape. That grenade launcher helps a lot. I also ended the level early by racing past Johnathan to active the switches.
