Hell no. I've been after finding one for her since last year. When they get home from the zoo I cleared an area on her dresser for it next to her TV. It's going nowhere. I wouldn't feel right in the least bit scalping that. She ends up not wanting it, then I'll take it and throw a top 100 list of games on there including all the carts I own NES/Famicom that'll fire up on it for ease of use. No way it's going out there one way or the other. I couldn't trust someone to not scalp it with some sob story to get it at cost.

If you have a prototype of the 2017 model out in Aug/Sept, sure. ;) Seriously no, it's for the kid, not a story.

It would be hilarious if the scalping prices of this end up higher than an actual NES + games.

Maybe I should just sell mine.

Here's how much my local games shop will pay for it. It cost me just £45...

That's crazy but personally as a matter of principle I'd say keep it. That way you're not rewarding those assholes who will scalp it for a even notably higher price than what they're already heavily paying for in the first place. It's just allowing them to rip someone else off.

Not that you're a mind reader, but if you dislike it so much, find someone who would legitimately use it and do them a solid on the price.

Earlier ago I sat back, watched her play with the thing for a bit. Couldn't figure out Dr Mario, so she went and took down all of world 1 of Kirby, then did SMB up into most of 1-2 and had to leave for grandma sleep over. I'm told she was hyped to go into the store and was happy to walk out with it.
