your guilty pleasure game...!

Post by MrEco »

I was just recently inspired by an article at GamesRadar about guilty pleasure games. Games that by most peoples standards... suck, to be honest. But for one reason or another you like them and wont let anyone tell you different.

So in a reply below, post what video game is your own personal guilty pleasure game.

Mine is P.N.03 for two reasons. Reason one, T. Reason two, A.
I think you get what I mean.

Here is the link to the article that inspired me to make this thread.

Enjoy.

Spyro the Dragon (just the first one) for the PS1 was my guilty pleasure game for a long time. I have literally beaten it about 25 times during times in which i couldnt think of something else better to do.

Anticipation. lol

Right now it'd have to be Futurama for PS2. The game pretty much got universally panned when it came out and ever since but I like the show enough to keep plugging away just to see the storyline unfold.

WWF Attitude. The game wasn't great in 1999 and it's awful, clunky, and slow now, yet on occasion I'm compelled to play through a couple quick matches with Goldust.

I used to love WCW vs. NWO. Probably because I figured out a sure fire strategy using Saladin. Chokehold spam ftw.

Digimon Battle Spirit for the GBA

It's so satisfying to digivolve to the mega level and kick the crap out of everyone.
Also, it satisfies my inherent desire to "get blue spheres"

I'd have to say Sid Meier's Pirates! for the psp. that game is so repetitive and monotonous, its just ridiculous that anybody would like it, but its just so damn addictive. that one and also the entire harvest moon franchise, something about it is just so appealing to me, and i have friends and family that think it is the most pointless game ever, but i can't stop once i've started playing it.

Whacked! for Xbox.

I think I'm the only person I know that speaks highly of the game.
