My buddy at gamestop called me today telling me a guy came in saying he had a 4 slot Neo Geo he was trying to sell. So I got his number and called him, he apparently has all the Metal slugs with it and a bunch of other games. We are going to his storage unit this saturday to check it out. I am so excited I don't think I can make it until Saturday. We kinda discussed price, but once I see the condition of it and the games he has... I will then pull out the "benjamins" and haggle like a son of a gun. 8) I will keep you guys posted...

Dude you really need to check out the Neo-geo.com forums, the guys there really aren't cut throat on prices, really fair actually. Pm me on what you budget is on buying an AES

I don't think he was in there to purposely to try to sell it, he I think was one of there regulars and they started talking about what he has and how is trying to sell it.

Make sure you check out the cab to see if it's dedicated or conversion. Most 4-slots will be ded with the memory card and head phone jacks...this makes it worth more, at least to me. Sticks and buttons can be replaced, busted partical board and bad monitors are a pain.

Give us a rundown of the carts when you find out. Maybe we can offset your purchase if there are any titles you may not want.

thats my plan :D there is really only 4 more games i am searching for and thats :
Blazing Star, Super Dodgeball, Bust a move again, and Neo Driftout.
