Spring of Courage and Spring of Power... need to figure out what to do with these.
I only have one more memory left and the SE region to explore.
Zelda Breath of the Wild - Wii U vs. Switch
Re: Zelda Breath of the Wild - Wii U vs. Switch
Yeah... accidentally finished up the Spring of Courage because it just randomly happened. I guess I'll just aimlessly wander around the Spring of Power area again and hope it happens, lol.
I guess enemy levels scale? I forget, which is higher between white and silver? I'm assuming silver but I'm not sure. I've taken down a few Lynel's now. Do they and the big fatties respawn?

Even Zelda's nightmareish voice.

I suspect that they sorta phoned in voice performances for non-Japanese regions. If I saw right, there are something like 3-4x as many VAs listed in the credits for Japanese relative to everything else.Xeogred wrote:Even Zelda's nightmareish voice.

Damn shame it wasn't dual audio.
I find everyone else to be tolerable, but Zelda of all people is atrocious to me and flat out ruined some of the memories/scenes for me. It's the one rant I was going to talk about when I review it.
I think it's best to try and pretend it's actually not Zelda at all and some new character entirely. Looking at it that way makes me take it in easier.
Not to mention coming out of Skyward Sword... it's such a downgrade since that incarnation of Zelda might be my top favorite. She was a normal down to Earth cute girl next door. Overall I still think Skyward Sword's story blows Breath of the Wild out of the water, but it's still a hard comparison to make since BoTW has its focus on the atmosphere and other things more in a subtle Souls-like way that I appreciate in a different way.

Hmm, not sure I've seen the fourth Great Fairy...
Got the full map unlocked though. 102 shrines down.

Got the one in the desert?
Re: Zelda Breath of the Wild - Wii U vs. Switch
That was the one. Funny I was heading in that direction the other day but got lost in the sandstorm, haha.
Now... to come up with those rupees. I guess I'll just sell tons of ore. I didn't realize the Ancient Gear required lots of rupees too. I wonder if I should even bother? Guardians are pretty easy as is late game here.
