Do the Limited Run Games PS4 releases play off the disc or just do an auto-install and require the disc as a check?

As far as I know they play off the disc. You may want to research it though.

I hadn't heard of any of the three games coming out today, but that Mitsurugi game, I remember seeing reviews and videos of it back when it came out on PC months ago. That game is so mediocre and basic, I honestly can't believe that the publisher would want something like a physical release O.o

Thanks for the heads up wclem! I just played this for the first time over the weekend with a friend and was really hoping something like this would come out eventually. Definitely had to swoop this up!

Neither had I... Didn't stop me from buying them, though, mediocre or not

I also finally ordered my free Oddworld playing cards. I kept forgetting the last few times

They just announced a physical Ys Origin is coming as a limited run game for PS4 and Vita. That's one I'm gonna have to try and jump on.

I only wanted 1 game before now (Shantae: Risky's Revenge) and missed it, so here's hoping I manage to get hold of this one.

Huh. Not sure I want to go for that or not. I did play the crap out of Origin, though, going through it with all three characters.

Ys Origin will be the first Limited Run Game I try for. Not sure which version to get though. I don't have a PS4 yet but intend to get one eventually. I do have a Vita, but I feel like I could remote play the PS4 version if I go that way and have the best of both worlds. Anyone know if the Vita version works on the PSTV?

OOF, same. As soon as I saw YS on there I was like AW damn, I gotta jump on that one for sure, because otherwise Bone and the Racketboys are gonna buy 'em all X3
