I haven't dug it all out but I did see the throw in games 2 of the 3 are sealed, but they're just those dance/zumba junk but still it's something to lessen the blow when I ditch the other wii. Not dug out the audio CD or Mario yet but they're tucked in tight, wondering if they never got pulled.

A value the wii mini is worth? $20? I read up what was removed and they took it a bit too far.
The Wii mini is a funny story. It's kind of similar to the SNESjr or the Genesis 3; it's a downgraded version released near the end of the console life cycle. The funny thing is that collectors love this sort of thing. Just like the SNESjr, the Wii mini is rarer and more expensive on the second hand market compared to its better selling original version counterpart.

Pricing a Wii mini feels like a trip to the twilight zone. Some people ask $120 for this device. I don't believe it's worth that much. I feel like its best to wait and see for a couple years. Ask me again in 2019 what a Wii mini is worth.

I guess so. The SNESjr at least had the 1CHIP setup as far as the clearest/sharpest video off the various models of the system, but it couldn't do the RGB if I recall right, something about a pin not connected for modders to enjoy it without modding it further.

But the Genesis 3 and the Wii Mini, they're losers, they remove some feature or many features that make them not work right with everything or outright lose access to stuff and that's just unacceptable. There's right and wrong ways with it, sometimes a middle of the road like the top loader (bars on many, no RCA just RF, but it ran games without blinky harassment.)

I think asking you what a Wii Mini is 2 years will be worth would be comical. It'll probably go up because collectards will just think it's rare and therefore better, like the NES and SNES re-releases. I'd love to have an old style NES again but to get one that doesn't look/smell or work badly is more than I care to bother since I have a heavily modded top loader that gets the job done (stereo, lit up power switch, and clean RCA output.) :)

Anyway I put a little time on it a bit ago. I'm happy. It really wasn't used, I'd bet in the 5-10hour range looking at the just 2 save games and giving some hours allowance to Netflix being stuffed on it and the Internet Channel (browser) which aren't there on a clean format of the system. It ran Metroid Prime Trilogy like a champ, cleared the opening of MP1. Did half of world 1 on New SMB Wii as well. Both controllers checked out cool as did the rest. I'll have some fun with this, and with my multi-console supporting problem out of the way I can just bang away at it comfortably around Switch games as I get/work on them so it won't be a stress.

I've got New SMBWii, Wii Sports Resort, SMG2(sealed for now), Klonoa, and Metroid Prime Trilogy to toy with, the system setup itself, a black wii classic controller pro too, and not sure if I'll keep one of the 2 copies but Masters Tiger Woods 2012 Golf I'd like to try.

I'll be hunting for super cheap local deals on Wii stuff when I can bump into it as I've worked up a list.
