Went for a walk today hoping to luck onto a Totodile, but no dice. I did however find a nest of Snubbull, who I didn't have before now. I'm over halfway to Granbull now, so that's nice.

Also found another Hoppip, meaning I'm over halfway to Jumpluff, my favourite pokémon too.

Qwlfish I couldn't remember it, found a really proud nice one of those yesterday so I kept it, also found a week ago a really horrible pineco too and it looks awful just in general.

I'm going to hunt a bit later again, hopefully something good comes of it.

Anyway, got bored here a moment ago and did some mass evolution with some candies, can't say I'm disappointed. Also inched up a couple others on the CP scale such as my Espeon to 2105 (the #5 spot) and 1 of my Aerodactyls to 1651 to #10.

Added new to the bin of goodies a really beefy Omastar at 1964cp, right to the #4 spot with mudshot and hydro pump. Next is a Slowing at 1437cp with confusion and psychic. Croconaw at 894 with watergun and crunch. And then a quagsire, azumarill in the 830-850 range on them...meh.

I wish oddish would pop back up, have a sun item waiting for that evolution on a 965cp gloom so it should go large. Found a 710 Wobbuffett (what a joke) the other day too. A lame pineco came out of an egg at 569cp. Also that day evolved a pretty potent vaporeon into the #9 spot at 1783cp with water gun/water pulse not sure i'll keep it the other is 2004 and has aqua tail.

My best CP now is 2340 on a snorlax and 2337 on rhydon, charizard I could rank, but need the dust as I hit LEVEL 28 today.

I also am deep into fishing right now. I've been sitting on this 153CP magikarp with a powerup of 4500/4candy that is amazing, hp and WOW. And I'm up to 316 candy as that's been my watery focus mostly and that's starting from >10 candies. My current wild gyarados is 2072cp with crappy bite/twister which is just decent/atk/wow. I probably will keep it as it was a wild grab but it sucks, hope I get a new move set or I'll be pissed. I'm going to hammer out the candies, the karp rarely show up here so I'm going to exploit this.

I took that Gyarados that was at 1800 and pushed him far enough to make it gym worthy! Plus about 80 more Magikarp candies to finish it off. The CP arc looks to be able to handle about 2800.

That gym's now at level 9, so I expect a good period of service out of it.

Also caught Mantine and evolved Umbreon. I've got other water types ready to go too.

Hah you put the karp hat on. I saw that, had no idea where it came from if it's a permanent free joke or something for the event.

Tomorrow I'll have to figure out what to do after work to try and russle up as many candies as I can. Maybe even if I don't need the candies, go to the mall and just walk it a few times and pick off anything that moves, then use the dozen stops to refresh it. I need I think around 80 more. No idea what the arc will look like as a max out on this one I'm developing but it should be a nice surprise once it goes.

It was there for the event and I believe it is a permanent free item. I saw so many other of my teammates in gyms have it on so I did the same.

When I get that Gyarados back (hopefully not for a while) I should be able to max it out. I need to recover my dust first.

Today's the day, got it on the way back from my kids gymnastics.

150cp magikarp --> 2247cp gyarados (instant #3 spot)

It has 129HP, a dust powerup of 4K/4candy, Proud, Defense, excellent -- BITE/Hydro Pump

I screwed up and didn't do my amazing one Hopefully some month/year it gets there it'll be a real beast. Still not complaining considering how meh the other was being just a punching bag with bite and useless twister.

This water event was probably my favorite aside from the event from Halloween. I got lots of great Gen 2s and I found a Quagsire last night, but I evolved a better one today.

My 4 10km eggs contained 2 Pineco (one evolved to Forretress), a Dratini (with enough candy to evolve to Dragonair) and an Aerodactyl! (1444CP/amazing % but Bite/Iron Head - moves not too amazing)

I also got Hitmontop from one of my two Tyrogues (if Stamina/HP stat is best you'll get a Hitmontop too) and I forgot to mention the Misdreavus I got out of an egg last month. A pure Ghost type.

Finally to cap off the water festival about an hour before shutdown -

It appraised "decent" (13/0/12) but that moveset is gonna be great on offense and defense once I start getting candies for it! It's about time.

Argh Lapras how that one evades me. There's a small amount of Gen1 things I'm basically resigned to either never having, getting the Lapras off my wife who quit once trades are up, or going the route of cheating and hoping I don't get caught.

The fact they refuse to ever really tweak how stuff pops up so you have at least a chance to get everything a region is allowed outside of exclusives is just rotten.

Lapras, Porygon, Jynx, Mr Mime, Grimer/Muk, Electabuzz, Kabuto/Kabutops, Dragonite(unless I walk off a heap of candies as they've only popped once for me other than 1 egg), and other than that you have your legendary birds and mew/mewtwo.

There's a few others like the evolutions with Golem, Clefable, Electrode, and a few others I lack but candy trolling can get there at least.

My wife had this wicked useful cheat version of the game on her iphone that was amazing. You could GPS elsewhere, catch stuff, then teleport back home, and it would register it in your area not elsewhere. As long as you weren't doing pokestops people didn't get caught using it when she was at least. I know it's like taboo, but I'm kind of fed up being screwed out of stuff after like what 9 months now?

I still don't have Porygon and that was one of them during the February event that was supposed to come up more. I've got a Kabuto but I'm nowhere near the Kabutops, it's a 5km walk for candy if I remember right. I still don't have a Tauros but that's probably because I'm below the imaginary line that runs right through the middle of this area, but it means at least I'm in Heracross/Corsola territory. I just got really lucky with the Lapras, saw the shadow and then drove around trying to find it, one Ultra Ball later it was mine. But of course now that means just 3 candies and one power up. I'll probably never see one again unless it's in a 10km. It's a Dragonite killer!
