It was fine with a Kinect. You can't play it solely with a Kinect though, it is just to yell out commands to your troops in certain sections. I liked it!

Evolve Ultimate Edition free with Gold.

I'm thinking a 4TB WD Passport should do the trick with this console.

yeah I may eventually go w/ a big external HDD myself. I've got the 500GB model S, and considering all the free shit that MS gives you with Gold, I can see this filling up fast. That said, I do really prefer the convenience of a digital game at this point.

How much room does your typical physical title take up? On PS4 its like 40 gig.

Far as I know, for both PS4 and Xbox One, there's no space saved by buying a game physically. Both do full installs of the game data, and simply require the disc to be in the drive for a license check.

I figured so much. Stuff like Destiny + all the DLC took forever to install the first time I put the disc in. About as long as it took me to download Madden. So given the options, I'd prefer to not have to even bother putting in the disc for license check. But sometimes the physical games can be found for a lot cheaper.

Thanks. For 360 it was different than PS3 in that regard so figured I'd ask. Good to know - that certainly validates the larger external even more.

Yeah, I thought it was a cool touch too. Worked fine and it was pretty minimalist.

Conker runs fabulously and looks great. It's the raunchier N64 version, too which is a good bonus... and I'm not really sure if the games that were on XBLA for 360 are actually downloads or not.

They are not DLC codes though. Once you pop the disc in and it downloads the update you have all the 360 games waiting to be installed... which is all the Banjos, Perfect Darks, Viva Pinatas, Kameo, and Jetpac Refuelled I believe. I haven't tested it yet, but I think you need the Rare Replay disc in the drive (or the digital rights purchased) to actually play these installed games.

It's kinda like they're showing off their backwards compatibility or something. It logs me into my 360 profile and starts popping achievements in the 360 versions.

Everything else that was basically on the oXbox (Ghoulies), the N64 stuff that wasn't on XBLA, and everything else that's older are on the disc and ready to go once you get the initial game loaded.

It's an excellent value and I've poured a bunch of hours into it already. There's tons of achievements and options for cheats and a "rewind" button on some games. It makes stuff like Battletoads a heck of a lot more accessible.
This is a good post, I'm exploring Rare Replay right now (and it's $15 new for an even better value). I like that you can uninstall the 360 games it downloads without impacting the other pieces of the game. You do need the disc in to access these though.

It looks like - from checking my achievement list, that it carries my past BK and BT saves into the digital version Rare Replay downloaded. The games show up with a Rare Replay banner across the top when I look at my achievements. Interesting.

This is a helluva bundle - I started in on the Battletoads Arcade game. I like the little snapshot challenges too.

Battletoads Arcade is insane. I couldn't even beat the first level without a continue.
That was from Noise in the 3DS thread, but it made me chuckle as I, too, was cruising along in the first level and then you come up on those guys with the electric hammers (or whatever) and, yep, by the time the first boss is there I'm credit feeding.

I'm just glad they don't take the number of continues into account when they calculate all the enemies you destroyed at the end of a level.
