Wii-U thoughts so far
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
NoE is probably a bit more desperate than their US counterpart, as well. Nintendo's European sales have always lagged quite a bit.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Since I've been doing a bit of looking lately...
I'm still somewhat considering a Wii U, however, I'm not seeing much to justify the buy when I could just get a Wii. The only games that seem to have any pull for me are Toad Treasure tracker, Super Mario Land 3D, Bayonetta, and BotW.
It doesn't seem like enough to me, unless I'm just missing a bunch. So far Switch looks the same way, but it's still way early to tell.

if you were interested in either I'd go w Switch. I feel like U will be forgotten soon enough by Nintendo.

Forgotten soon? I think it's breathed its last life short of them clearing out stock.noiseredux wrote:if you were interested in either I'd go w Switch. I feel like U will be forgotten soon enough by Nintendo.

Do the Nintendo Selects WiiU titles have a reversible cover like the Wii alternate control titles did?

I...never thought to look. Honestly, I didn't even know the Wii ones do. Do the 3DS ones?retrosportsgamer wrote:Do the Nintendo Selects WiiU titles have a reversible cover like the Wii alternate control titles did?

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
No idea, I just remember being taken by surprise that the Wii Mario Tennis New Play Control cover art had a real cover on the other side.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
The one 3DS selects title I own is blank on the other side. I don't know if they're all like that, but I would imagine so.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Finally got around to modding the virtual Wii portion on my Wii U. Now I've got to figure out a good way to set things up without the Wii U griping at me about my memory stick not being formatted for the system.
The main reason I finally went through with it is my lack of room in my current setup. The Switch has displaced my Wii spot.
(And yes, that GBATemp guide worked swimmingly for everything. No issues whatsoever.)
