I hated the Xbox at the time for stealing Halo from PC and because I was a Sony fanboi...then got over it eventually and loved some of the exclusives

Nice list, however you missed Oddworld: Strangers Wrath - an absolute stone cold classic, this game was well ahead of its time and is still very playable + cheap (I know, there`s a HD remaster and so on but we`re talking true retro here, right?

And yet now today you can play the Halo precursor games Marathon for free as they posted them, and for PC too.

I hated Microsoft for stealing Halo from Mac users. Halo was originally demoed at a Mac expo.

While you`re factually correct, consider where the real FPS fanbase was at the time...PC or Mac? ;)

Myth was and still is one of my favourite games ever. Bungie was one of these end-of-millenium devs like Looking Glass Studios or Shiny that were just ahead of their time. Shame that their destiny turned out to be..well, just that ;)
