All the pieces of headwear crafted with gems is redundant with regular gear, and do not give you set bonuses. The only reason to get them is if you want a helmetless Link look.

Selling them sounds better then.

Have you guys noticed any behind the scenes weight stats? With shields/weapons and such. I wonder if some of the heavier stuff slows you down in general when you're just running around or climbing and stuff, hard to tell.

For what it's worth, I've noticed that setting the TV output to 720p seems to fix most of the performance "issues" that the Switch has in docked mode and makes it run better than the Wii U version. There's still the occasional bit of stutter, but it's far less. If you prefer performance over a slight upgrade to visuals, give it a shot.

I was sad that I couldn't register my skeleton horse and then he died at dawn. :(

Popo how many shrine quests were there?

Made way up to Goron City. I wonder if there's a loosely suggested route for the four main temples... Death Mountain certainly seems very dangerous and is typically one of the later areas in the franchise, but I might go through and do this one second since I've been focusing so much on the NE portion of the map. Wonder if I can manage Death Mountain without the Fireproof armor pieces haha, though I have 2,000 rupees so I think I could buy some of it if I wanted.

I love exploring the edges of the main map and seeing huge pieces of land in the distance. As if Hyrule here alone didn't make you feel like an ant, you have no idea what else is out there. I love that vibe.

There are a total of 120 shrines. This means that you cannot max out both your hearts and your stamina; you are three containers short.

I was meaning, quests that unlock hidden shrines that you were going on about earlier. I wonder how many of those I'll need to worry about. I probably won't do all the shrines though. But I've discovered 2-3 shrine ground areas, but can't seem to do anything around them until I activate a quest probably.

Of all the ones I've done so far, the most annoying one is trying to mount a deer (I'm assuming that's what it wants) haha, I failed so hard the entire plains where they were all at was empty so I'll have to return to try again another time.

What does stamina max out at? I've almost got a full second circle and 10 hearts right now.

Stamina maxes at 3 circles (including the one you start with). So that's 10 upgrades being spent on stamina.

You are correct you needed a deer for that quest. I did it using the sneaky set; they're quite skittish. Fortunately, once you get on they calm pretty fast.

I believe there is 42 shrines gated behind quests in some fashion. A few of those are obvious "get through this maze and at the end is a shrine" while others require you to figure out how to activate a pedestal (either through finding an orb or doing a specific action on the pedestal). Nearly all the pedestals have either an NPC or a sign nearby that explains what needs to be done to trigger it (in riddle form, of course). As I recall three did not; one had an indication in the environment and two were first given as quests inside the neighboring town, and those quests told you how to activate those pedestals.

Regarding a suggested route, I'd say there isn't one.

For what it's worth, the Rito dungeon is by far the easiest. Though that actually isn't saying much since none of them are particularly difficult.

I think I hear it's not a bad idea to do that one early on, I guess you get something that might help you climb faster or something... haha oh well. I'm taking my time with this game.

Popo, yeah I guess I should check around the villages. One of the pedestals that I have no idea about, is next to the Kakariko village Great Fairy across some bridge.
