Yes it does. Your inventory also will tell you if you have flammable items when you're in a place they'd catch fire or if you have metallic items during a thunder storm. Really nice little touches.

Btw, finished with 120 shrines. You guys gotta step up your game.
I found out about fire the hard way, gliding to a shrine... fire and "heat" are two totally different statuses to worry about.

Ohh I forgot to mention this in my Ancient Armor post: the attention to detail in this game is amazing.

So if you kill an animal for the meat with a fire weapon, it'll automatically "cook" the meat and boost the healing properties. The bad thing is you can't use it to cook another meal. Fine that I understand.

However if you kill the animal with ice, it'll convert it to frozen meat that will not only heal you but it comes with heat resistance. That's awesome!

You guys haven't noticed that Link can eat raw meat without getting a tapeworm or salmonella and dying?

Quite how frozen meat gives you heat resistance, I have no idea.

What you don't know is that if you eat enough raw meat, during the final fight against ganon, your tapeworm bursts forth from your anus and assists in the fight!

That is arguably the most impressive thing about the game, IMO. The attention to detail is staggering, and the world feels very alive.

I stumbled upon on of the Divine Best quite by accident when I was bumbling around Lanaryu Peak. I went ahead and freed it, and it was thrilling. I coasted down the mountain and ran into a blue Lynel. It ruined me; so, I came back, snuck past it, stole its treasure (600 rupees!), and warped out of there.
