There was also a very tricky puzzle that required use of remote bombs and your freeze powers to get an optional chest. I'm loving that these things are multi-layered.

The coolest thing is that there's still plenty of dungeoning. The shrine structure totally works. And there are often optional challenges to get at better treasures. I actually got stuck on one last night, ran out of sledgehammers so I had to give it up for now.

I may look that one up, actually, see if I'm just doing something stupid. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to hole-in-one that or something else entirely.

I always got it lined up perfect and was either one hit too short or one hit too long and it was driving me bonkers!Sarge wrote:I may look that one up, actually, see if I'm just doing something stupid. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to hole-in-one that or something else entirely.

Unless it's something completely lateral I think you need to hole in one. And I stopped with my last sledge because I like to save those for mining.Sarge wrote:I may look that one up, actually, see if I'm just doing something stupid. If that's the challenge I'm thinking of, hit the ball 5 times with the hammer, then 1 time with a one handed sword. Works like a charm.

I was just thinking about that... five times wasn't enough and six was too much. I think I just assumed I had to use the sledgehammer, and other objects wouldn't work. I'll give it a go again if I can remember which shrine it was... and when I get another sledge.
Re: Zelda Breath of the Wild - Wii U vs. Switch
The shrines all show whether or not you've gotten all the treasure chests by putting a chest next to the name when it's cleared. So you can always use that. I have a sneaking suspicion that the treasure from that shrine is going to be shockingly lame.

I feel like it was a giant core, or possibly just a regular core.
...Buuuut I'm not certain, the treasures have started to run together for me.
