Ordinarily I'd say no, but...it IS Earth, Wind & Fire. September is one of the greatest songs EVER.

Seen Phish three times, twice in KC and once at Alpine Valley just a few shows before they called it quits (until now of course). I know someone going to all the RR shows.

I would love to try to get some tix for this current run, but I just have very little patience for waiting on the phone or in Internet "lobbies" trying to get tickets. Either I can get them or I can't. They're also too expensive. When I saw them in the early 2000s the tix were only like 30 or 40 bucks. Not too terrible. Now with all the pent up demand it's too high for me.

Anyway, you clearly wanted to go - so that's a bummer. Maybe the next time it won't take five years. Maybe one or two? And maybe then the tix will be easier to get....

Don't ever get into classic rock. Tickets for Elton John + Billy Joel ran me $200, and Chicago + Earth, Wind & Fire ran me $100. And when the Eagles finally announce a tour date in the area I expect to spend another $200 for that.

Not to mention that half the time you are paying so much to see artists who are way past their physical/creative prime. Seeing someone like a geriatric Paul McCartney hopping around on stage and basically forcing a stage energy that appears fake and over-rehearsed... It's just kind of sad...

Well, when all the non-Ringo members of your breakthrough band are assassinated it starts to dragon the soul, you know? Personally, I've never been to a classic rock show that wasn't excellent. AC/DC, Journey, Boston, Doobie Brothers, they've still got the magic.

They're pretty goofy, but that's what I like about it.
that SMP/Zombie Apocalypse split is awesome.
