New Zelda title announced at GDC 2009 Nintendo Keynote

im not into the portable gaming genre (yet...), but it seems like theyre really pushing the zelda games through as quickly as possible... theyre not even changing the animation and the plot seems pretty similar (just different modes of transportation. it made more sense when i heard it was the third in the windwaker series, but i still feel theyre trying to pump out as many ds zeldas as they can... hopefully they have been working on the wii title the whole time or they just had to get this one over with to start working on it.

i dont think the games look crappy, it actually looks kind of cool and i dont mind the train any more than i minded the boat. i would play if i had a ds. there is just no real difference between titles, no evolution of the game, which is not very zelda like (i know majoras mask was similar to ocarina, but it was a sequel and thats why i am much more forgiving having heard this is a 2nd sequel. MM did have pretty significant changes that made it a game worth getting for reasons other than the fact that its a zelda game... phew this is the longest, run-on sentence to ever be put in parentheses as an aside to an overall point EVER).

that is some of the most uninspiring game footage of any game i have ever seen. i fucking hate toon link with a passion.... even though i have windwaker.
