The first thing I did was level up my stamina 3 times before I worried about hearts. Goes against everything I have seen people say to do online, but I found it easier to get to other shrines (to level up my health again) and get seeds.

I just beat the first dungeon (not shrine) and I did it with 5 hearts and don't think I took a hit against the boss. Was awesome all round.

I overdid it tonight. I plan to do 2 hours on the weekdays and ended up doing like 5 I think. :\

Anyway I poked around, and slowly at that and you'll see why. I decided to get that 1st memory spot central below the castle but never ran in that area before. Got in there, did the tower people were complaining about, and I can see why. Found I could parasail into it from an angle and not get shot. Ended up dying like 3x though trying to scale it, but found a mojo that worked and more or less would 3x jump to the next platform to avoid being blasted. From there to bail I went off of that and opened up central(upper half) west, northwest (tabantha), and then I tried to hit a tower but it was so high north even my cold suit didn't help (waited awhile for day break, didn't help.) Bailed on that, ported to Eldin, skirted the active volcano and sailed peak to peak. I saw my old marker for the Woodland tower, noticed the hell that awaited below. Found a sweet spot to jump from, sailed in and landed up the uppermost platform to an easy climb to the top. Also took down 4 more shrines, tagged 1 or 2 others but didn't enter. Also found another stone talus on accident, almost got me but he didn't hit hard much at all but I ran into a stupid thunderstorm and bailed as I couldn't fight. Found two korok seeds too, and that trader for them at the stable for hyrule central and he seemed lost. I tried to navigate around the castle, couldn't quite figure out exactly where the jump point to get inside was where you wouldn't get lit up. I was feeling kind of daring wanting to get that parapet memory.

PRobably won't do that tomorrow though, thinking I'll try south and southeast next since they remain unlocked along with the sw desert, the central west/lower region, and the icy far north.

First thing though will be a pop into karariko to get that better armor, and another heart to 7.

Also I'll need to read up online, maybe making some spicy food with that armor will get me on that tower. I probably saw another 6-8 shrines, but didn't bother as they're all in sight of those N/NE towers anyway.

Oh, good grief, this game is huge. And addictive. And... it feels like I've barely scratched the surface.

If this wasn't feeling more like a Guild Wars game with Zelda on top of it I'd probably shortly get annoyed with it and back off. But since it does feel like that kind of experience instead of straight classic Zelda I'm motivated quite so still. I do worry what I'll end up doing once finding shrines becomes a chore and the towers are all unlocked. I mean yea sure I could go do those dungeons, but I'm not excellent at hand to hand in this game and you only get so many hearts too.

I can definitely see the benefit of taking Stamina over hearts, but for me it makes sense to get a handful of extra hearts first, then spend some time upgrading stamina next.

I've done 4 upogrades so far:
1. Heart
2. Heart
3. Stamina
4. Heart

I'll probably get 2 more hearts and then just concentrate on stamina until I have at least 2 wheels worth. Frankly just being able to jump whilst climbing more, dash whilst swimming more, and sprint for longer will be worth it to me. I'm so impatient XD

I think it is every stamina gives you 1/5 a wheel. So 5 per wheel.

You do get hearts for beating the dungeons,
but I imagine there is only 4 in the game.

There was someone in the game that mentioned a man who sold heart and stamina containers. Curious to know where that is.

A friend on Twitter mentioned a guy who you can pay to move one of your heart upgrades over to stamina or vice versa, I bet that's what that is. Probably not just a way to get additional upgrades.

I have seen that, "person," and it is not the one referenced. They villager clearly stated it was a merchant selling these and the exchange "person" is no merchant.
