People thought that Zelda wouldn't be enough to last them until Mario. HAH!

I'm itching to play Witcher 2, and Mass Effect and Persona 5 are both coming out soon.

There are two guys on SA that have already completed the story and put up their maps to prove that they did. Some people...

I finally did the Impa quest last night. I was searching for the first memory around Lake Hylia, and it started raining at night. In the far south I saw a giant dragon thing that was glowing at night. So after I found the memory, I hunted that dragon down. It got away from me, so I went back and got the waypoint tower for the zoras.

Getting an actual set of armor with great fairy boost was great. Until I landed on Eventide Island.

Best comment ever regarding this game especially for your normal and definitely more passive gamers. Crackheads who took a week off to play already cleared it like some lame badge of glory which seems like such a waste. There's really in the end maybe too much to do. Looking at the size of the dictionary like thick guide book for this had that not been made I would figure it would take months or maybe a year plus for someone to figure out every hidden pop up event, years or longer for all the little hidden nuances.

I have no idea in the end how I will approach this game, but if I get my kicks out of it that I get so many hours it's like a dollar an hour I won't give a damn if I even finish it at that point. Looking over the land, finding the shrines, popping random hidden chests, and ticking the towers on -- the investigation aspect of it all is just fantastic.

The only really bad parts of the game is that it's loaded with 1 hit kills and far more so, easily repeatedly breaking weapons which just sucks. I read you can even wreck the master sword and it would need a reforging however that happens I have no idea and as stated already hours ago the hylian shield can be crushed too and somehow repurchased.

I really should try and figure out where those memories are located but none of the images look familiar to me at all which blows. I'd like to get the reward off of that but I think a lot of those pics are probably in places I have yet to see or just walked by and didn't relate to the angle at all. I'll admit it I'll probably find a guide online and just do that as I don't feel like getting frustrated over something so petty.

The thing is I'm confused. I got I thought the Mipha memory, do I need to snap a picture of that statue of her? I went through that sequence, went back to Impa and it ignored my seeing that.

+1

I am loving this game. It is so much fun running around Hyrule.

Also, does anyone else feel a little bit of regret when they come upon some bokogoblins - just sitting by a campfire, cooking some food, talking, minding their own business, etc. - and then murder all of them before they know what's happening? I do...

Also...and for Exhuminator's knowledge...The game's mechanics invite favorable comparisons to both Demon's Souls and King's Field: The Ancient City. It isn't nearly as difficult as either of those games, but death comes very, very swiftly if you are not unprepared for a new situation. (Unlike King's Field and Demon's Souls, however, the penalty for death is very light, which removes a lot of the tension.) The combat is also quite nuanced, and although it is grounded in the same basic mechanics that the series has employed since The Ocarina of Time, it reminds me a bit of the combat in Demon's Souls (but with less of an emphasis on defense). I have had some very intense encounters when I am surprised or when my plans go haywire. Most importantly, the game provides some direction, but it doesn't hold your hand. (Now that I have left the plateau, my primary directive - despite just scratching the game's surface is "kill Ganon," which reminds me a lot of the "return the idol" directive at the beginning of King's Field.) I have had to figure out how to do things on my own, and the thrill of discovery coupled with excellent design keeps driving me forward. If the rest of this game is as good as the first few hours, I will be in for quite a treat!

Nah, I actually feel bad only when I see that and there's no explosive barrels sitting by them for me to roll a bomb at. Watching them go up flame broiled style put a smile on the face knowing they can't get into taking a couple shots to finish you off. Any stragglers I run in while they flail around and cut them down in a single swing. Doesn't work so well against those huge freaking Moblins though. I tend to drag a slow fight on those with bombs and the occasional arrow if needed since they are large enough for a one hit kill (undead skeletons or living.)
