Top ten games for retro consoles for under 10.00

Video games. Video game collecting. Retro gaming. These three type of words that are now almost like staples of what people do and who we are is now a lifestyle and a norm in today's society. It's honestly also a hassle and tragedy.
It's 2017 and a couple of days after the launch of the switch and with not one to be found in any retail like the nes classic you can get one for double the price thru eBay or Craigslist or even thru Facebook or any social media.
It's happened to every retro or type of gaming anyone can get their hands off to.

So with that being said I thought of a topic that has to be resurrected from the Racketboy articles and it's the cheap games articles.
I figured anyone can write on this but I figured for each system the top 10 games that you can find under 10 bucks that is still worth playing today whether it's hidden gems or cold Classics or just a system that when you buy the cheap favorites that will get you worth every penny.

The first system I want to go for is a system that I just got for free but is also jump in price with in the last two years maybe even tripled in price and that is the Nintendo game cube. These prices and these games I figured the best way to go is loose disk only but if you get a complete then that's cool but I prefer loose to go to the cheapest way possible and here are my top 10 Games that you can get for under ten dollars.
1. Metroid prime
2. Star Wars rogue squadron
3. Star Wars rebel assault
4. Super monkey ball
5. The WWE day of wrecking games
6. Soul calibur 2
7. Veautiful Joe series
8. Resident evil 0 or 4 if your lucky to get it under ten dollars. Just have patience
9. Sonic collection.
10. Wave race/ fight night round 2 just for super punch out. Those are my top ten games to buy under ten dollars.

If anyone else has any input to add for other systems or any top choices for their list on GameCube feel free to add.
Would love to see a dreamcast or a snes and maybe a Genesis one. How about a tg16 now that's going to be tough. It's cart or disc only to help lower the cost but if you see complete cheap then add them. Remember under ten dollars and it's the best of that system has to offer for under ten dollars.

Here is my top ten for dreamcast games that still want to experience a system that's still thinking and a beautiful system it is.
10. Virtua tennis
9. Space channel 5
8. Soul reaver
7. Crazy taxi
6. Dead or alive 2
5. 2k1 sports series
4. Sega rally 2
3. Evolution
2. Chu chu rocket
1. Soul calibur (I know it goes for 12.00 or so but anyone who gets a dreamcast MUST MUST pick this game up no excuses. It's like Nintendo with Mario gotta have them together.

Here is one of my favorite systems of all time the sega Genesis. So many great games can still be bought for under or at ten dollars. Here is my top ten
10. Sega Genesis 6 pak. Six of the best games at one price.

9. Street fighter 2 championship edition. You could go for super street fighter 2 also but I just like championship edition a little better

8. Sonic 2. The best in my opinion of the series. Great platformer

7. NHL 94. One great hockey game that just hits the ten dollar mark and a must for any genesis owner

6. Terminator. For me I just always liked this game and it seems like it's just hard enough to keep you playing but not hard enough to throw the controller down and call it quits.

5. NBA jam/ tournament edition series. Anyone who has any friends coming over this is a great game for two players boom Shaka laka

4. Mortal kombat series. Im a fan of all 3 and depending on your taste you can get any of the three fairly cheap and I've seen all 3 mortal kombat as a bundle for ten bucks. For me personally I'd prefer mortal kombat 2.

3. Vectorman series. People say that these games were sega's answer to donkey king country and I'm happy that they made the vectorman series. Great platformers

2. Any of the sports titles from the Genesis line up. What I mean is since the Genesis was a market for the sports genre I mean there is so many sports titles to choose from and for me personally with history and nostalgia I would recommend

Most of the time if you just look up sports games for the Genesis you can manage to get a ton of sports games as a bundle for under ten dollars.

1. Light crusader
Now since I don't have a rpg on this list the only game I know that is under ten dollars and was an ok rpg in my opinion is light crusader. I've seen other rpgs on the list that are under ten dollars but I've only played this and fatal labyrinth. If anyone has more of an rpg experience that's on the Genesis and can add more to the list or has a better option feel free to add or comment.

There is so much more to choose for a Genesis for games under ten dollars and I believe this system you can get more bang for your buck. I own two systems and the sega cd and the power base converter and I love the things. Seriously out of all the systems I believe if your going for a retro system start with a Genesis.
