My Art (slightly NSFW)

Creative Corner seems more aimed at 'gaming' creativity, so I guess this is the place for this. Figured I'd show some of my art, as, although it is a personal thing for me and I'm certainly no Michelangelo, art without an audience is a bit depressing haha.

I tend to favour 'dark' imagery. Apologies to those not really into that kinda thing.

I LOVE the dark themes you employ here. What medium do you use? I can't tell from the pictures, but it looks like charcoal. Great stuff, man. I can't wait to see more. Do you sell any, or is it purely cathartic for you?

Thanks for the awesome feedback, man. I really appreciate it. I actually mostly use a combination of ink, watercolours and pencil and then I use Photoshop and Illustrator to tidy up or create digital art from what I created on canvas/paper.

I used do a lot of charcoal art back in the day, but don't have any charcoal at the moment. I keep meaning to buy some.

I don't sell any. I don't think I'm good enough for that haha. It's just cathartic for me. I used to really love art when I was a child up until my late teens when 'real life'/adulthood got in the way of it. I tried getting back into it in my third year of University, but I struggled. Then last year, after a few shitty work-related situations, I ended up off work for a few months with Depression and Stress, so I found myself getting back into art as a form of 'therapy', I guess (P.S. I've always liked 'dark' imagery. It's not linked to the depression).

Interesting art work (lol, better than I can draw or paint). Certainly is dark... I don't know why but the Saw movies come to mind when I reflect on your pieces.
