Link Between Worlds is absolutely amazing. It's definitely a worthy successor to Link to the Past. I'm not sure if I'd say it's better than Link to the Past, but it's definitely worthy of sharing a world.

Yeah, in terms of sequence breaking you need the treasure from dungeon 3 to get to dungeon 4, and you need the treasure from dungeon 4 to be able to fully explore some of the later dungeons (can't remember the details). You need the treasure from dungeon 1 to beat the boss of dungeon 6. All other requirements are either for treasures from the world or are using the dungeon treasure on the boss of the same dungeon.

That's about the level of difficulty in sequence breaking in LttP too and you can do it without really intending to do it. It's just more obvious that you're sequence breaking in LttP since the dungeons are clearly labeled by number on the map of the Dark World.
