Any good DS wi-fi games?

Post by Pullmyfinger »

Does anyone know of some good games that offer online matches on the DS? I have tetris and its fun, FF3's Wifi capabilities were a big letdown. Now I'm looking for something more, preferably puzzles or fighters, but anything fun will do.

Also, anyone know if Puyo Puyo 15th is getting a release here?

Only other few games I could think of are Mario Kart and Metroid Prime Hunters. I dunno about you but I hate the way Hunters is controlled on the DS.

Yeah, my first DS came with a Metroid demo and I didn't like it, it's still inside the box

Mario Kart is by far the best wi-fi game. It also has 8 player download and play. :P

I think the controls on MPH are awesome! What kind of problems do you have? It seemed really intuitive to me, the only problem I had was with the ball-mode controls, because the camera is a bit wonky. Anyways, it is good.

I just didn't really like the way it was in general, but then again I'm not really much of a fan of Prime. I like the 2D games better.

I love 'em too. All of the modes on the demo rocked, cept the one where you had to shoot to move around the screen...but that was bearable. Also, I hate the Mario Kart online considering:
A) I can't get a fucking match going
B) everyone else drops out before the game ends
C) everyone is snakin like hell. I mean, I can snake, but it really does take the fun out of the game, tbh.
I believe starfox has online too.

I thought it wass just me having a hard time getting a match going in tetris, it takes me a while to go 2 players, I've never been patient enough to wait for 4.

I didn't like the demo mostly because I don't like/suck at FPS games.

I still hope for the day some decent fighter comes out.

well, Animal Crossing: Wild World is by far the most addictive wi-fi title to date IMO. Get it and give it a shot. There are tons of places on the web to get friend codes too. Though, obviously, if you didn't like the first animal crossing, you won't like this game.

I never played any game in the AC series before, but I'll give it a shot.

Does anyone here play anything on the DS Wifi, like to justify a few game-specific friend code threads or something
