Questions about Xbox One
Re: Questions about Xbox One
Soon you'll be able to have a Netflix style subscription for a selection of XB1/360 games. For $9.99 a month.

yeah. It's interesting. And $10 is certainly easier to swallow than PSNow's $20/mo. I'm not sure that I would do it necessarily, but it's worth considering.
Re: Questions about Xbox One
It'll really depend on the selection of games I think, and how actively someone is playing them, given that they will be rotating titles out. I could see it being a tremendous value for the type of consumer that tends to plow through games and trade them in for more.

yeah. I don't think it'd make sense for me personally. I paid for a couple of months of PSNow and barely played anything. Same with GeForce Now (though I had 3 free months).

So I checked the email and it had a link to the store website. I got the demo there and it said it would push to my Xbox One... but nothing. Tried restarting the console and still doesn't show up in my queue or in my purchases or anywhere.
That's really weird.
it showed up today. Shrug.

played the demo of Halo Wars 2. It's just the first mission basically. Took me 32 mins (20 mins par, haha) but it's quite enjoyable!

Re: Questions about Xbox One
does anyone know if Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 has cross-play? I have it on my Steam wish list, but Gamestop has a limited physical edition of it for Xbox One that includes a comic book.
Though, either way I'm probably smarter to hold off for a deep discount since I'm far more interested in the NEW MVC game coming out later this year than I am in replaying 3.

I think the subscription service would be really good for folks that don't own many games but want to try some out before buying. As long as your internet is fast and the selection is vast.

I don't believe it supports cross-play, but I also read that Capcom isn't producing many disc copies of the game for either system.
