man, seeingthose scans is like being being a kid again. I remember waiting and waiting for the Wish Book to come and flipping straight to the video games & sports cards sections.

We used to get almost all of our video games from Department store catalogs when I was younger. I haven't ordered anything from a catalog in probably about 15 years though...I wonder if these things are still around.noiseredux wrote:that's amazing! I used to drool over the Sears and JC Penny catalogs every xmas. Thanks for this!

I think JC Penny and Sears still do catalogs. I'm not positive though. I Just feel like I've seen them here or there. I think that a lot of we who grew up on NES or GEN era got a lot of our stuff thru those catalogs. But later the internet kind of squashed that tradition.

That brings the memories flooding back, Does anyone remember fingerhut magazine, if i remember correctly they used to have video game stuff in the early 90's

I love this old stuff. Gotta love the haircut and outfit on that kid playing the gameboy. People complain about plaid pants from the 70s but I stand by my belief that the late 80s-early 90s was the most godawful time for clothing. Here's some sears christmas catalogs and a site with old radioshack catalogues. . .
