So what have you guys been watching lately?

We've all got our guilty pleasures, and Trailer Park Boys is one of mine. Just finished Season 10 today, which I was late to. I've seen everything these guys ever did up to 2015, so I'm playing catch up now. I don't even smoke weed or drink alcohol, but I've always found this show to be way above average as a comedy.

You're speaking my language, man. I've seen all the seasons up until it came back on Netflix, all the movies, the Christmas Special, seen the live show, and so on. My parents have an autographed picture of the boys in their house, acquired through a friend of theirs who used to drive Robb Wells to school back in the day. Yes, I know that sounds like a "my uncle who works at Nintendo" story, but as Kurt Angle would say: IT'S TRUE.

Speaking of trashy comedies, does anyone here actually still keep up with It's Always Sunny? My friends and I were into it with what feels like ages ago, I can't believe it's still going. I know some people that dropped off somewhere in the middle since it was turning into something else by that point. The charm to the early seasons was how low budget they were and what they had to work with, haha.

Season 12... wow.

I think we only saw like seasons 1-3 or something.

Last night I finished "Trailer Park Boys: Out of the Park: Europe" as well as their Austin show, so with those, and Season 10 under my belt, I'm back to having seen 100% of their output. I think the biggest compliment I can gave TPB is that it is always consistent. What you got in Season 1 you still get in Season 10, for better or worse.

I've at least heard of that show. But it's one of those shows like Parks and Recreation where I kept hearing the name but never bothered to try out.

Parks and Recs ruled. It struggles at first trying to copy The Office a bit too much, but then finds its own identity and groove. I need to finish it off someday, missed the last few seasons.

There are movies, OVAs, mini-series, full TV series, shit it's confusing. :| I mean I'll watch it someday, but it could been produced with a bit more ease of digestibility.
I'd say the mini-series (which is essentially the pilot) and then the core show is all you really need. The movies, that I've seen, are more like prequel/side stories that can add to it, but aren't required, same with the webisodes.

The earlier seasons are generally really good. It's kind of all over the place by the end.

The Expanse is easily on the level of the better seasons, at least so far.

I've been watching it on Netflix, up to season 9 or so - just more a convenient 20-odd minute show to watch than anything else.

Sunny is great. I've never not been entertained by an episode, plus once you figure out how the characters operate, you can kinda just watch it wherever without worrying about continuity. Yeah, there's some stuff you might not get, but overall it's very adaptable to just throwing on a random episode or catching whatever happens to be on TV at the moment.

Well folks I finally did it. I finished every single episode of Magnum, P.I.
Eight seasons with 163 episodes @ 48 minutes each = 130 hours.
And that's not counting the specials, which I also watched. :|
It was a good show, not stupendous, but good, and I'm glad I'm done with it.
